Signature matching is a laughably insufficient security measure, which is why the real solution is to require voters to present photo ID, a utility bill, two forms of secondary identification, proof of citizenship, a note from their doctor, and a passport — all of which are simple to obtain and present no unreasonable hardship to anyone with the right priorities. Georgia’s hand recount, in which Republican and Democratic observers stood side by side and watched humans physically count every ballot and confirmed Biden’s win by the same margin, was conducted by the same election infrastructure that produced the original fraud, which is a significant methodological limitation.
